1. Peanut Butter Cup Perfection ice cream.
2. Showing my mother around my office, and how everyone spoke about me. Learned that my first job there was always meant to be temporary but they wanted to be sure they got me before another company did. The timing worked out, and I lucked into the position I am in today. I really do love my job.

I know I am seriously delinquent with these posts, but I have a good reason. Monday night, I had a sleep study done. I had planned on doing my three things from the waiting room, but the moment I got there they were ready for me. Overnight, I didn’t sleep well, so when I got home Tuesday night I crashed until David woke me for dinner, and then I crashed again.
I don’t really have an excuse for last night, other than Joe.
So, what has made me happy these last three days?
1. Monday: No waiting in the waiting room at the sleep lab.
2. Monday: Finding out there really is something wrong with me, and it’s not just in my head.
3. Monday: Watching Bones with David. We don’t spend much time together so it was really a treat.
4. Tuesday: Saw Yentl for the first time. This surprises me, honestly, because I love musicals, love Barbra Streisand, love movies about gender issues. One of my favorite musicals is Victor/Victoria! So, I’m not sure how I missed this before, but I saw it Tuesday and it was a treat. That, and Mandy Patinkin! heh.
5. Tuesday: David was very sweet all day, and took care of me. Again, he’s not normally like this, so it was nice to be spoilled by him for once.
6. Tuesday: It was a really lovely day outside. Ohio has a short Spring and Fall – I don’t care what the months say, by the weather they are very short. Tuesday was a lovely Spring day in Ohio.
7. Wednesday: Even though I started the day behind in my work, and feeling groggy and unmotivated, I got everything I needed done. Occasionally, I get into this headspace where I’m not really thinking about anything but work, and so I complete my reports really fast. Yesterday was one of those days.
8. Wednesday: Successful DDO dungeon run with Joe, even though we ran into Fire elementals we weren’t expecting. Unfortunately, I play a rogue and so I hate elementals. I really don’t do much damage to them.
9. Wednesday: Inspired a favorite author that I’ve been following for awhile, so I’m really looking forward to the story he’ll write from that.
1. Friends that don’t judge me.
2. The person I am today vs. who I was 10 years ago.
3. Dragon Age: Origins
1. Finally being able to chew food with minimal pain.
2. Quiet Saturdays with Joe.
3. Joe’s homemade breakfasts.
1. Ibuprofen.
2. Dead wasps.
3. Ho-oh.
In excruciating pain from oral work, so this will be brief.
1. Family – especially those willing to be there when I need them.
2. Step 2 of 4 on road to oral healthiness.
3. Ibuprofen.
1. Two years today and I still love my job. I have had a LOT of crappy jobs, so to enjoy what I do is awesome.
2. Killing pirates, and zombies, and zombie pirates, and LOOTING with Joe.
3. Lazy day at work and still managing to get everything done.
1. Long conversation in which I learned much about my Mother’s past.
1.5 Learning how hard the fates worked to bring Joe and I together.
2. Best damned Katburgers I ever made.
3. Holding my temper in check.
1. A very productive day at work. I realize this emphasizes my nerdiness, but I’m ok with that.
2. Finally getting my bottle of burbon. My belly is very warm at this minute.
3. Old pictures of me and my family. They showed how much Emily has grown, reminded me how much I miss pets who have passed, and showed how little I’ve changed versus Tam, Joe, and David. Oh, and I’m much prettier than Joe’s first wife.
